In 1946, Mário Barbeito, founded our small company with the aim of producing quality Madeira wines, some in limited quantities. In recent years we have been bottling Single Casks of Malvasia from the 2000 and 2001 harvests. The acidity of the wines has always had a huge influence on Ricardo Diogo choices and this Malvasia was no exception. In June 2013, 1209 units were bottled, all individually numbered.

SERVING & CELLARAGE
Serve best at 13/14oC.
This wine was filtered and does not require decanting; it will last and maintain in good condition several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES
Gold colour.
Notes of raisins, figs, caramel and orange blossom. Sweet and spicy flavours, extending in a long dryness finish.
Excellent as a digestif. Accompanies well caramel or passion fruit pudding, rich fruit cakes and cheese.
