Tinta Negra grapes sourced in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos area. Grapes were pressed in a continuous press.
LOT
One year after bottling Tinta Negra 1999, we chose the 2000 harvest for a new Single Cask. Like the previous, this wine shows an excellent acidity as well as the growing, delicate and elegant aroma which is the result of aging under moderate temperatures in French old oak casks for 15 years. This result is also felt in the mouth where there is a perfect balance between acidity and sugar.
In November 2016, 476 bottles have been filled, all individually numbered.

This wine was filtered and does not require decanting, it was bottled ready for drinking and it will last and maintain in good condition several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES
Amber colour
Pallet of delicate and fine aromas. Ripe tropical fruit, raisins, toasted peanuts, candied fruit and orange leaf that gives it a fresh touch. Constant soft palate, all very well balanced. Fine and subtle acidity in a very elegant finish.
Excellent as a digestif.
Pairs well with dessert and cheese.
