Grapes from various quality vineyards located in São Jorge in the north coast. Grapes were pressed in a continuous press.
LOT
This is the first time we choose a Malvasia from 2005 for a new Colheita Single Cask. Cask 133 stood out by showing two characteristics that are indispensable in our wines, elegance and acidity which were influenced by the fact that the wine was aged in two warehouses with similar maturation conditions (d+e). Both have temperatures that are really high during summer and significantly lower in winter. The latter allowed a decrease in the concentration, thus emphasizing acidity and originating a well-balanced wine. In July 2016, 903 bottles have been filled, all individually numbered.

Serve best at 13/14oC.
This wine was filtered and does not require decanting; it will last and maintain in good condition several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES
Gold Colour.
Good concentration of aromas, dried fruits, floral, caramel, green nuts and salty notes. Well-structured wine with a sweet spicy taste, balanced and fresh. Medium long finish with an accurate acidity.
Excellent as a digestif,
Pairs well with dessert and cheese.
