Boal
VINEYARDS AND VINIFICATION
Grapes from various quality vineyards of Campanário. Grapes were pressed in a continuous Press. Arresting of fermentation takes place at the desired degree of sweetness by adding vinic alcohol (96%).
LOT
After 4 years since the last Boal 1982 bottling, we decided to make a new one. At the time of the first bottling (June 2007), the wine that was left in the demijohns was transferred to old French oak casks, with the particularity of filling them only up to half measure. On the other hand, we chose to use casks located on the higher parts of the warehouse, very close to the roof top. By making these two options we were able to obtain a wine with an extraordinary concentration at all levels. In February 2012 we filled 1050 bottles all individually numbered.
