LOT

Malvasia Cândida was the first grape variety to be planted on Madeira Island, in the second half of the 15th century. Introduced in Fajã dos Padres by the Jesuit Priests, the wine produced on that property soon became the most sought and wanted among all.
From 1993 to 2013 this wine was aged in the Fajã dos Padres’ family warehouse by the canteiro method. As a result of this it suffered continuous and high concentration over the years. Since 2014 until 2019 it then aged in our warehouse exposed to lower temperatures, originating a balanced, smooth and fresh wine.
In October 2019, 426 units were bottled, all individually numbered.
