Grapes from São Jorge area. The must was obtained through foot treading.

Amongst the canteiro aged wines, Ricardo Diogo selected the Malvasias he enjoyed most to create an exclusive blend limited to 1550 individually numbered bottles. This wine is the result of a blend of very old wines with some much younger. Although being a 30 year old wine it was of great importance for him to keep Barbeito’s unique style in this blend: well balanced with a long and fresh acidity at the end of mouth.

SERVING & CELLARAGE
Decanting is recommended, served best at 14oC or low room temperature 16oC. It will last & maintain in good condition several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES AND HARMONIES
Amber Colour.
Lush bouquet! Sandal wood, exotic notes and smoked. Hints of balsamic, clove, licorice and caramelized walnuts. Oily, sophisticated palate, racy acidity yet, with a super subtle finish and finesse.
