Grapes from São Jorge and Fajã dos Padres (20%). The must was obtained through foot treading.
LOT
As with the previous blends, this Malvasia 20 year old is the result of a long period of reflection. Ricardo Diogo always looks for his favourite and most balanced wines amongst his inventories, some of them being the last liters left in the casks. Once again, he chose to blend younger wines with older ones. From this marriage of distinct generations, he obtained a wine that at the beginning has a moderate impact on the nose followed by an explosion of elegant flavours where the long acidity at the end of the mouth plays a very important role. In June 2018, 561 bottles were filled, all individually numbered.

SERVING & CELLARAGE
Decanting is recommended, served best at 14oC or low room temperature 16oC. It will last & maintain in good condition several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES AND HARMONIES
Gold Bright Color with green highlights.
Full spiced bouquet, woody hint, butterscotch, raisins, prunes, dried figs, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Intense flavors of raisins and spiced candies. Full-body wine, yet with a nice acidity for balance and an elegant bittersweet finish.
Excellent as a digestif, also pairs well with strong cheese.
