Verdelho & Sercial
HARVEST
Grapes harvested at the end of September.
VINIFICATION
Grapes were carefully selected and transported in boxes of 20 kg. The Verdelho was vinified by foot trodden and endured cold maceration during 3 days. The Sercial by direct pressing and both fermented at controlled temperatures between 10oC and 15oC. On November 5th, 3082 units were bottled.

96% Verdelho from Raposeira, Seixal and São Vicente.
4% Sercial from Seixal.

MATURATION
50% of the Verdelho aged for 6 months in new and used French oak barrels, the remaining in a stainless steel tank under controlled temperatures.
SERVICE TEMPERATURE
Best served between 10o/12oC
TASTING NOTES
Citrus colour.
Fresh nose somehow contained in the fruit. Fine toasted nuance on a citric background with pear and melon. Light structure palate, herbaceous with citrus touch. Minerality in a slight salty finish.
Excellent as an appetizer, fish salads and limpets.
