Grapes from various quality vineyards located in São Jorge in the north coast. Grapes were pressed in a continuous press.
LOT
This wine began aging at the Afonso (d) warehouse and since 2008 has been aging in our new winery warehouse (e). Ricardo Diogo recalls the first few times he tasted this wine, the intense peach aromas amazed him. Today, we are faced with a wine that is very elegant with the usual acidity that we so much value and never abdicate in our wines. In September of 2011 we bottled 978 units of 500ml all individually numbered.

Serve best at 13/14oC.
This wine was filtered and does not require decanting; it will last and maintain in good condition several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES
Gold with green tinges. Candied fruit notes, honey, waxy, ripe citrus and dried heather in a smoked background. Luscious savors and engaging, very round acidity in a long, smooth and refreshing finish.
Excellent as a digestif. It pairs well with passion fruit pudding, chocolate and fruit sponge cake.
