Quality grapes from São Jorge Vineyards. Grapes were pressed in a continuous press. Arresting of fermentation takes place at the desired degree of sweetness by adding vinic alcohol (96%).
LOT
In July 2007 we hand filled 792 bottles from a single 620 litre old French oak cask (232c). This is our third single cask bottling from the same harvest and same grape variety. Contrary to the two previous single casks this one came from our warehouse c where temperatures are lower along the year when compared to warehouse a.

SERVING & CELLARAGE
This wine was naturally aged in cask and bottled in its purest state. To show it at its best, serve between 13/14oC. If you get a chance to aerate the wine, it will help the Madeira to show its best features. This wine was filtered and does not require decanting. It will last and maintain in good condition several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES
Gold colour.
Aroma of raisins, figs, nuts, caramel and orange blossom. In the mouth it has a spicy sweet flavour, which prolongs in a long and fresh dry finish.
Excellent as a digestif,
rich fruit or sponge orange cakes, chocolate, mango sorbet, crystallized fruit and cheese.
