LOT
In March of 2009 while tasting all our Boal wines from 2001, Ricardo Diogo came across the samples from casks 48 and 84 placed right next to each other, then blended both wines and it turned out to be of excellent character, just the way he likes it. Good acidity yet delicately sweet. Thus, he blended the 580 litres from cask 48 (very delicate wine) with the 400 litres from cask 84 (more concentrated, sweet and acidic.) From this wine we filled 1.722 bottles all individually numbered.

SERVING & CELLARAGE
This wine was naturally aged in cask and bottled in its purest state. To show it at its best, serve between 13/14oC. If you get a chance to aerate the wine, it will help the Madeira to show its best features. This wine was filtered and does not require decanting. It will last and maintain in good condition several months once opened.
