VINEYARDS AND VINIFICATION
Quality grapes from São Vicente were used. Grapes were pressed in a continuous press.
LOT
This wine was produced from grapes from the same small pergola vineyard situated in São Vicente. The height of this pergola only allows the harvest to be done by people almost lying on the ground. This Boal 1997, cask 235 a+e, can also be considered a single vineyard. It aged in old French oak casks by the natural canteiro process. We filled 1.198 bottles, all individually numbered, in June 2012.

SERVING & CELLARAGE
This wine was naturally aged in cask and bottled in its purest state. To show it at its best, serve between 13oC and low room temperature 14oC. If you get a chance to aerate the wine, it will help the Madeira to show its best features. This wine was filtered and does not require decanting. It will last and maintain in good condition several months once opened.
