Grapes from Ribeira da Janela and Seixal (North Coast). The must was obtained through foot treading.
LOT
This Verdelho was produced from grapes from Ribeira da Janela and Seixal. This wine has aged in old French oak casks in our various warehouses since 1982.This Verdelho 1981 shows an excellent balance in its structure in which elegance predominates as well as a unique freshness at the end. In March 2017, 690 bottles have been filled, all individually numbered.

SERVING & CELLARAGE
Madeira wine should be kept vertically and in cool dry place. Decanting is recommended, serve best 16oC or low room temperature 18oC. It will keep well several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES
Bright gold colour.
Fine bouquet with notes of polished wood, light smoke, candied fruits, tobacco leaf, salted caramel and lemon zest. Luscious texture and refined flavors, enhancing citrus fruit. Touch of salt, superb acidity in a long elegant freshness.
