Grapes from a variety of quality vineyards from the Seixal area. Grapes were pressed in a continuous press.

Since the foundation of Vinhos Barbeito, in 1946, and for many years Mr. Manuel Eugénio Fernandes has supplied Sercial and Verdelho grapes to our company. He had a very special relationship with the family maintaining weekly visits to our old winery, in most of which Ricardo Diogo had the great privilege of being present. This Verdelho 1995 is the fourth wine of a serie of bottlings that pay tribute to Mr. Manuel Eugénio as a way of enduring the long-term relationship between our families. In April 2019, 1030 bottles have been filled, all individually numbered.

SERVING & CELLARAGE
Serve best at 14oC or low room temperature 16oC. It will last and maintain in good condition several months once opened.
TASTING NOTES AND HARMONIES
Gold colour with greenish Highlights.
Bouquet with menthol notes and fresh pine, dried carob, chocolate powder, black tea, plum and dried figs. Citric flavour, beautiful acidity maintaining an almost spicy freshness. Elegant, long savory finish.
Excellent as an aperitif, pairs well with cheese.
